Jeddah Metro Co. said the city’s public transport company network will be tendered under the public-private partnership (PPP) model upon budget approval, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

 

All the related designs have been completed, and construction is set to start on the Obhur bridge, said Jeddah Mayor Hani Abu Ras.

 

In March 2013, the Saudi cabinet approved Jeddah public transport network project at a total cost of SAR 45 billion.
