Saudi bank loans hit SAR 1.47 trln in June

Bank loans issued to Saudi Arabia’s public and private sectors reached SAR 1.472 trillion by the end of June, compared to SAR 1.465 trillion in year-earlier period, new figures from the kingdom’s central bank revealed.
Private sector lending inched up 0.6 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.427 trillion during the month.
Meanwhile, the value of loans issued to the public sector decreased by 6 percent YoY to SAR 44.1 billion in June.
