United Cooperative Assurance's (UCA) board of directors approved appointing Mohammed Basrawi as chief executive officer for the company, effective Aug. 26, the insurer said in a statement on Wednesday.

 

Basrawi has held top positions in various insurance and telecommunications firms, the statement added.
