The general entertainment authority (GEA) has appointed Amr Banaja as a chief executive officer, replacing Faisal Bafarat, GEA said in a statement.

 

Bafarat will maintain the position of an advisor to the chairman.

 

Banaja was senior vice president of marketing and corporate responsibility at SEDCO Holding Group. He held a B.A. in economics from Boston University.
