UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed has issued a decree appointing Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, chief executive and managing director of Mubadala Investment Company, as Presidential Special Envoy to China, according to state news agency WAM.

 

Al Mubarak will serve as the first UAE envoy to China.  

 

Earlier in October, Al Mubarak was named as the world’s top public investment executive by the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute.
