Leejam Sports Company's (Leejam) board of directors has appointed Ahmar Azam as chief executive starting Oct. 25, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Thursday.

 

The decision comes after Fahad Ali Alhaqbani resigned on Wednesday, citing personal reasons.

 

Meanwhile, the board approved amendments to the company’s organizational structure by abolition of the position of managing director.

 

Subsequently, Abdulmohsen Ali Alhaqbani resigned as the managing director effective Oct.25, but will continue as vice chairman of the board.  

 

The company also created a number of managerial positions such as investor relations, the statement added.
