Saudi Arabia’s King Salman ordered the release of prisoners jailed on financial charges during his visit to Hail on Wednesday, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The orders apply to those with debts of SAR 1 million or less and are not involved in criminal cases. In addition, the government will pay off the debts of those who have been proven to be unable to repay them.
