US jobless claims drop slightly

Initial Jobless Claims in the US fell slightly in the week ending May 16, as layoffs remained low despite economic uncertainty.
Forecasts had anticipated 210,000 applications, while the previous week's data was revised upward by 1,000 to 212,000, according to Labor Department data released Thursday.
