Foreign institutions net sellers of SAR 179.5M on TASI last week

Foreign institutions on the Main Market (TASI) were net sellers of stocks worth SAR 179.5 million during the week ended June 25, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its latest weekly report.
Foreign institutions accounted for 38.02% of total buy transactions and 38.94% of total sell trades on TASI.
Saudi retail investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 81.7 million, mainly driven by individuals who recorded net purchases of about SAR 250.4 million, followed by managed portfolios at SAR 7.4 million. Meanwhile, professional investors and high-net-worth investors were net sellers at SAR 163.7 million and SAR 12.3 million, respectively.
Saudi institutional investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 197.7 million, backed mainly by investment funds which bought shares worth SAR 127.6 million, corporates (SAR 101.7 million) and government entities (SAR 42.6 million). Meanwhile, institutional DPMs were net sellers of shares worth SAR 74.2 million.
