Foreign institutions net sellers of SAR 472.2M on TASI last week
Foreign institutions on the Main Market (TASI) were net sellers of stocks worth SAR 472.2 million during the week ended July 2, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its latest weekly report.
Foreign institutions accounted for 36.74% of total buy transactions and 38.91% of total sell trades on TASI.
Saudi retail investors were net sellers of shares worth SAR 210.9 million, pressured mainly by individual professional investors who sold shares worth SAR 590.3 million. Individual DPMs were also net sellers of stocks worth SAR 46.8 million, followed by high-net-worth investors (SAR 12.9 million). Meanwhile, individual investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 439 million.
Saudi corporates were net buyers of shares worth SAR 796.8 million, mainly driven by companies, which recorded net purchases of about SAR 669.9 million, followed by managed portfolios at SAR 251.2 million. Meanwhile, investment funds and government entities were net sellers at SAR 122.5 million and SAR 1.6 million, respectively.
