Foreign institutions net buyers of SAR 109.3M on TASI last week

Foreign institutions on the Main Market (TASI) were net buyers of stocks worth SAR 109.3 million during the week ended July 16.
According to Saudi Exchange data, foreign institutions accounted for 39.74% of total purchases and 39.13% of total sales during the week.
Meanwhile, Saudi individual investors posted net sales of SAR 186 million, mainly driven by specialized individual investors, who recorded net sales of SAR 155.9 million, and managed individual portfolios, with net sales of SAR 133.1 million. This was partially offset by net purchases of SAR 60.1 million by individual investors and SAR 42.9 million by high-net-worth individual investors.
Saudi institutions recorded net sales of SAR 7.3 million, primarily due to investment funds, which posted net sales of SAR 218.5 million, and government entities, with net sales of SAR 165.8 million. These were partly offset by net purchases of SAR 349.6 million by companies and SAR 27.4 million by managed institutional portfolios.
