Foreign institutions net sellers of SAR 533M on TASI last week

Foreign institutions were net sellers of SAR 533.1 million worth of TASI stocks during the week ended Sept. 10, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its latest weekly report.
Foreign institutions accounted for 31.86% of total buy transactions and 34.89% of total sell trades on TASI.
Saudi institutional investors were net sellers of shares worth SAR 227 million, mainly driven by mutual funds which recorded net sells of about SAR 207.8 million, followed by institutional DPMs at SAR 19 million and corporates at SAR 15.5 million. Meanwhile, government entities were net buyers of shares worth SAR 15.4 million.
Saudi retail investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 645.7 million, backed mainly by individual DPMs who bought shares worth SAR 411.6 million and high-net-worth investors at SAR 338.6 million. Meanwhile, individuals and retail DPMs were net sellers of shares worth SAR 31.3 million and SAR 73.2 million, respectively.
