Saudi Arabia has witnessed a significant transformation in its investment environment over the past years, becoming a global destination attractive to foreign investments and a hub of opportunities across various sectors.

This development has taken place under Vision 2030, which focused on diversifying the economy and improving the investment environment through broad legislative and regulatory reforms that facilitated investor entry and empowered local companies.

Among the most prominent of these efforts are the establishment of the Ministry of Investment, the launch of the National Investment Strategy, along with qualitative initiatives such as the Regional Headquarters Program and the “Invest in Saudi Arabia” initiative.

The development of infrastructure and the restructuring of mega projects have also contributed to enhancing the attractiveness of the Saudi market, positively reflecting on the growth of foreign investments and increasing global investor confidence.

Foreign direct investments (FDIs) rose from SAR 27 billion in 2017 to around SAR 133 billion by the end of 2025.
