Al-Falih says affordability of energy prices 'top priority'

Making energy prices affordable for everyone is a top priority for Saudi Arabia, Saudi Press Agency reported, citing the Kingdom’s Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih.

 

“A platform for mega investments in research and development in the energy sector aims to develop innovative solutions and face major global challenges,” Al-Falih said during the G-20 ministerial meeting on in Nagano, Japan.

 

He also recommended launching a global initiative for research, development and innovation with the first center to be established in Saudi Arabia.
