Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company on Tuesday announced in a bourse filing that Standard & Poor’s (S&P) on Monday had affirmed the financial strength rating of the company at BBB+ with outlook positive.

 

Also, the Agency (S&P) affirmed the Gulf Cooperation Council Regional scale financial strength credit rating at gcAA+, the company announced.

 

“The Agency's report indicated that Walaa rating reflects capital adequacy as well as the company's ambitious growth and diversification plans,” the bourse statement added.
