FII 2019 ‘one of the world’s most significant events’, says PIF Governor

Yasir Al-Rumayyan, governor of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Chairman of energy giant Saudi Aramco said Riyadh’s third annual Future Investment Initiative (FII) 2019 conference has become one of the world’s biggest events.

“The number of the conference attendees almost doubled compared to the first time,” al-Rumayyan said during the conference opening session.

“Investment can restructure our tomorrow, as it will help unveil new opportunities,” he added.

While giving opening remarks, he said, “Like all great things FII began with a simple idea: to bring diverse leaders together to change the status quo."

He also added that Saudi Arabia’s rules and regulations will help generate further investments into new sectors.
