Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) announced postponing the announcement of its financial statements for the period ended September 30, 2019 until January 31, 2020, the company said in a bourse statement on Sunday.

 

The telecom operator emphasized its commitment to disclose its annual financial statements for the fiscal year ended on March 31, 2019, on the previously set deadline by the end of November 2019.

 

Atheeb was unable to publish its financial results for FY 2018/2019 on time as the external auditor was appointed on August 2019, thus, it requires more time to complete the audit.

 

It would be difficult to measure the financial impact of delaying the publication of Q2 2019 financials, the Saudi telecom operator added.
