Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co. starts today adopting electronic voting on the agenda items of its ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) that will be held on June 24, according to a bourse filing.

 

The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.

 

Earlier, the company invited its shareholders to vote on the board's recommendation to withhold dividend for FY2019, according to data compiled by Argaam.
