The number of active US rigs drilling for oil increased by five to reach 246 in the week ending Dec. 4, General Electric Co.’s Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

Meanwhile, the natural gas rig count fell by two week-on-week (WoW) to 75.
