The research team at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) successfully developed the first Saudi coronavirus vaccine.

Phases of preclinical research were completed, the research team said, noting that the research results were published by The Pharmaceutical Journal.

Clinical trials will begin when the necessary approvals are obtained.
