Saudi Aramco President and CEO, Amin Nasser

Saudi Aramco President and CEO, Amin Nasser said it is too early to determine the effect of the new ‘Shareek’ program on the oil giant’s distribution and investment plans, Reuters reported.

 

He clarified that the government does not require the company to be a part of specific projects, indicating that the program is voluntary and it is up to the private sector to request incentives.

 

Aramco will exercise prudence in allocating capital and cost criteria, he affirmed.
