Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) said that the smart electrical meters contribute in enhancing the reliability of service provided to end users and help improve the consumption reading and billing systems.

 

The Saudi-listed firm affirmed that the smart meters and their technical and communication systems are resistant to different climatic conditions and are compatible with the best technical specifications, as well as local and international standards.

 

Earlier this week, the utility provider announced the completion of the installation and replacement of more than 10 million smart electric meters, within 13 months, Argaam reported.
