Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co.’s (Amiantit) shareholders approved amending bylaws and updating the governance policy during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM), held on April 26, 2021, according to a bourse filing.

 

During the meeting, shareholders approved amending bylaws related to the company’s main office, management, board vacancies, board and executive management authorities, in addition to board meetings and quorum.

 

Additionally, shareholders endorsed the board and audit reports, as well as financial statements for 2020.

 

They also discharged board members from liability for 2020, and appointed an external auditor for Q2, Q3, Q4 2021 and Q1 2022.
