Solar energy purchase project to begin after approvals: Al-Jouf Agricultural

The implementation of the project related to the purchase of solar energy from the French firm, Engie, is subject to necessary permits and licenses from the competent authorities, Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co. said in a statement to Tadawul today, Sept.7.

 

The project will begin following the regulatory procedures, the company added, noting that this announcement implies no financial impact on the deal.

 

Earlier this week, Al-Jouf Agricultural announced the award and signing of a 25-year solar energy purchase contract with Engie, Argaam reported.
