ACWA Power starts initial commercial ops in phase 1 of Sudair Solar PV

ACWA Power Co. received on Sept. 27 the initial commercial operation certificate from the Saudi Power Procurement Co. (SPPC) for phase 1 of the Sudair Solar Photovoltaic (PV) project in Saudi Arabia.

 

This phase represents 50% of the 1500 MW plant capacity, the company said in a Tadawul statement, adding that it owns a 35% stake in Sudair One Renewable Energy Co.

 

The company expects the relevant financial impact to appear as of Q4 2023.
