Saudi International Petrochemical Co.’s (Sipchem) affiliate International Diol Co. (IDC) had a technical malfunction that hit production, Spichem said in a statement to Tadawul on Thursday.

 

The malfunction is being repaired and the plant is expected to resume full production by the end of next week.

 

The company will suspend deliveries to some clients due to the incident.

 

Sipchem does not expect this malfunction to weigh on the business materially or significantly.

 

Sipchem owns 53.91 percent of IDC.
