Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) said its systems were not affected by WannaCry ransomware virus that has spread worldwide, the company said on its official Twitter account.

 

The statement came in response to claims circulating on social media that STC was among those affected by the ransomware virus.


The company clarified the virus hit some personal devices and that would be addressed by technical teams.
