National Gas & Industrialization Co. (GASCO) said it has received on Tuesday a statement of claim from the attorney general against the company for the gas tanker explosion that occurred in November 2012.

 

Hearing in the case has been postponed to August 17, 2017, to allow the company time to respond to the claim, GASCO said in a statement on Tadawul.

 

GASCO added that it won’t be able to determine the financial impact of the lawsuit at this stage.

GASCO’s gas tanker exploded in November 2012 near Riyadh that resulted in significant human and material losses.
