Saudi Cable Co. has appointed Meyassar Nowailati as a board chairman for the current term ending on Sep. 2, 2017.

 

The step came after former chairman, Khaled Alireza, submitted his resignation on Aug. 15, 2017.

 

The resignation was accepted by the company’s board on Aug. 17.

 

Alireza, however, will remain a member of Saudi Cable’s board of directors until the end of the current term, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The new chairman has over 20 years of management experience in various fields. He also serves on the boards of other companies, the statement added.
