Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co.’s board of directors has appointed Khalil Kordi as deputy chairman of the board of directors, effective Sep. 14, 2017.

 

The decision came after the company’s former deputy chairman and board member, Prince Turki Al Saud, resigned on Sep. 14 following his appointment as a consultant at the Royal Court of Saudi Arabia.

 

The resignation was accepted by the board and became effective immediately, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

The new chairman is currently a non-executive board member, the statement added.
