Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group Co. expects the second phase of its calcium carbonate plant to start operations in the second half of November.

 

Financial impact of the project is likely to show in Q4 2017, the company added in a bourse statement on Monday.

 

The trial run of the second stage started in early September after completing the main electrical installations.

 

Al Sorayai signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Jazeera Paints Co. last year to set up the factory.
