The Saudi market regulator, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) has placed a trading halt on shares of Saudi Electricity Co. for two hours as of 10.30 a.m., pending an announcement, the regulator said in a statement to the Saudi bourse (Tadawul). 

 

The Saudi utility provider said it would announce a “material event”.
