Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group Co. started production at its calcium carbonate plant in Jeddah on Wednesday, Nov. 22.

 

Financial impact will be reflected on Q1 2018 statements, the Saudi-listed company said in a statement on Tadawul.

 

Al Sorayai Group owns 25 percent of the project, while Al Jazeera Paints owns 48 percent, and Al Sorayai Group for Industrial Investment Ltd. owns 27 percent.
