Capital Intelligence (CI), the international credit rating agency, has maintained the financial strength ratings of Samba Financial Group at “A+” with a stable outlook.

 

The long-term foreign currency rating was affirmed at “A+”, underpinned by the Bank's very strong capital ratios, strong liquidity, strong and continually improving asset quality, and sound net profitability.

 

The short-term foreign currency rating was raised to “A1” from “A2”, reflecting the bank’s liquidity improvement, especially in light of the current operating environment.

 

Any negative change in the Kingdom’s credit ratings in the coming period would affect the bank’s ratings, the firm said.
