United Cooperative Assurance Co. (UCA) board of directors appointed the firm’s chief financial officer, Faker Rais, as acting chief executive for 60 days from December 26, 2017, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

Former CEO Tareq Al Nabusi’s term had ended along with the end of the board’s term, and the election of a new board on December 14, 2017.

 

Rais has over 25 years of professional and managerial experience where he held several top positions, the insurer added.
