Aspen Pharmacare, a South Africa-based supplier and manufacturer of branded and generic pharmaceutical products, is planning to expand its infant milk formula business into Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported on Thursday, citing the group’s deputy chief executive, Gus Attridge.

 

The move comes as part of the pharmaceutical producer’s strategy to grow its brand presence in the Middle East.

 

“We’ve started some very small test sampling of the markets in the Middle East where Saudi Arabia is a particularly attractive market there,” Attridge said.
