Dar Al-Arkan Real Estate Development Co.’s board of directors on July 24 named Kelvin Kwok as new chief executive officer (CEO) effective Sept. 1, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Wednesday.

 

Kowk has over 20 years of experience and has recently served as CEO of Saudi-based Emaar Middle East.  

 

The new appointment came after the company’s former CEO, Ziad El Chaar, resigned from his post due to personal reasons, effective from the same date.

 

El Chaar will maintain his position as a board member and adviser over the current three-year term ending Jun. 23, 2019, the statement added.
