Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Competition (GAC) received 39 acquisition requests this year, of which six applications are still under study, Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Obaid, director of legal affairs told CNBC Arabia.

 

Since establishment, GAC received the total of 130 acquisition requests, including 40 requests in 2017. The approval rate reached 95 percent, he said.
