National Medical Care Company’s board of directors has approved the resignation of the company’s chief executive, Raed Bin Abdullah Altamimi.

In a statement on Tadawul on Sunday, the company said that Altamimi had resigned, with effect from Dec. 31, 2018, to focus on other responsibilities he has. He will retain his membership in the board of directors and committees that he is already a part of.

Dr Abdulaziz Saleh Alobaid, who has more than 23 years of experience in healthcare field, has been appointed to replace Altamimi with effect from Jan. 1, 2019.
