Saudi Electricity, King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre to promote study on energy

King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) inked an agreement with Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) to promote research studies in the field of energy, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported today.
The agreement is also aimed at enhancing the electricity segment's stability as well as cutting the power consumption, the agency said.
KAPSARC, inaugurated in 2010, is an independent, non-profit institution located in Riyadh. Its research areas include energy economics, policy, technology, environment, global energy markets, and carbon management.
