Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) on Thursday said it will commence commercial production at its Maaden Rolling Company (MRC) from Sunday (Dec.9).

 

The plant will produce 380,000 MT per year of aluminium flat-rolled products, the mining major said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The impact on MRC's earnings will be recognized in Maaden's Q4 2018 results.

 

MRC is 74.9 percent owned by Maaden and 25.1 percent by US-based Alcoa.
