Saudi International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) named Abdullah Saif Al-Saadoon as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective immediately on April 1, the company said in a bourse statement on Monday.

 

Al-Saadoon was appointed as acting CEO on March 24.

 

Al-Saadoon joined Sipchem in 2001. He took over the position of operations and manufacturing head. Al-Saadoon also oversaw the company's transformation in several sectors including IT, Human Resources and Supply Chain.
