Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG) has launched The Independent in Turkish language, as part of the British newspaper’s project to launch its websites in Arabic, Turkish, Urdu and Persian.

 

SRMG has appointed Turkish journalist and political analyst Muhammed Zahid Gül as Editor-in-Chief of the new website.

 

“This media project marks the second phase of our deal with UK’s The Independent. We aspire that this project will attract Turkish speakers looking to read diverse and highly professional content,” said Abdulrahman Al Rowaita, chairman of SRMG.
