The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia’s (Bahri) board of directors has appointed Mohammed AlSarhan as chairman and Abdulmalik Al-Hogail as vice chairman, the company said in a bourse filing on Sunday.

 

On May 2, former chairman Abdulrahman Al-Mofadhi, non-executive director and a representative of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), tendered his resignation for personal reasons.

 

Meanwhile, the board of directors approved to appoint Raid Ismail as PIF’s new representative effective from May 2.

 

The decision will be approved in the upcoming general assembly meeting.
