Shams shares hit 8-year high

Shares of Tourism Enterprise Co. (Shams) recorded today, Dec. 15, their highest level since Oct. 2013, at SAR 182.60.
The stock closed today’s session 3% higher at SAR 172.20 – its highest close in eight years - with a trading volume of 2.4 million shares.
Shams has recently cut capital by 48.21% to SAR 52.57 million to offset the accumulated losses.
Shams was established in 1991 and it was listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) as a joint stock firm in 1999.
The company focuses on the touristic resorts across the Kingdom and owns the Palm Beach Resort.
