Saudi Arabia’s Real Estate Development Fund (REDF) deposited SAR 1.07 billion in the accounts of the beneficiaries of the “Sakani” program for August.

The August disbursement was allocated to subsidize mortgage profits across various housing programs, enhancing affordability under Saudi Vision 2030's Housing Program objectives, state-run SPA reported.

The latest allocation brought the total REDF housing support deposits to SAR 8.62 billion from January through August 2026.

Since its establishment, the fund has enabled more than 1.8 million families to acquire their first homes and contributed to raising the homeownership rate among citizens to 66.24%.

Accordingly, REDF continues to play a leading role in enabling families to own suitable homes by developing innovative financing solutions in cooperation with financing institutions and real estate developers. This helps facilitate the homeownership journey and expand the range of financing and housing options available to meet beneficiaries’ needs.
