Saudi Arabia sets consultant pre-qualifications for off-plan sales

The official gazette Umm Al-Qura published on Sept. 29 the pre-qualifications of engineering consultant bodies for off-plan sales or rent projects, to be effective from the publication date.

 

The conditions apply to engineering consultant bodies that have experience in overseeing buildings and infrastructure for a period of no less than three years.

 

In addition, they should have qualified engineering staff to carry out the engineering supervision of off-plan sale projects.

 

The conditions aim to boost the quality of supervision for off-plan sales or rent projects, and to increase confidence in such projects.
