The GCC’s technical secretariat to combat harmful practices in international trade decided on July 31, 2017 to investigate the anti-dumping complaint filed by Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) against GCC imports from Spain, Italy and Poland, MEPCO said in a statement on Tadawul.

 

The company, backed by other regional firms, has complained that the dumping of fluting, testliner, kraftliner and other paper grades from these European countries are hurting the manufacturers in the Gulf region.
