Saudi banks raise treasury bond holdings in August

Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds increased by SAR 6.8 billion month-on-month to SAR 365.3 billion in August 2019, new data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.
SAMA’s foreign assets rose SAR 11.6 billion for the same month to around SAR 1.943 trillion.
